kuntar dealReader comment on item: May an American Comment on Israel? Submitted by zornberg (Israel), Jul 28, 2008 at 02:06 An expensive deal was Rabin's Jabril deal for 1150 released, including some who had done very little time, for 3 live soldiers. Some of those released went on to kill dozens of Jews. It can be debated whether releasing or not releasing Kuntar will produce more attempted kidnappings. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
