May an American Comment on Israel?

Mr. Pipes:

How right you are! If I was a member of the Israeli decision making establishment, I would pay serious attention to your insight and wisdom. The actions of the corrupt, defeatist Olmert administration boggle the logical mind of a person. It almost appears that this leadership, and if it represents contemporary Israeli society, then the whole country has a deathwish. The zionist spirit is gone, and the effete sabra rather enjoys the beach at Tel Aviv, or touring the Andes, instead of concern for the future. Ben Gurion is rolling in his grave in agony.
