May an American comment on Israel?

If Israelis feel that we in the Diaspora should not comment of pass judgement on Israeli decisions, then perhaps we also shouldn't be donating money to charities in Israel; maybe only Israelis should be allowed to contribute.

Perhaps Yoram Schweitzer would also claim that a doctor needs to have heart disease in order to be a cardiologist.
