87% of the French are right

Reader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters

Submitted by Prashant, Jun 23, 2018 at 12:51

Dear Dr Pipes, Regarding the report that 87% of the French respondents to a survey want serious Jihadis to be detained/interned, why should that even be questioned? If you are involved in propagating violence, you ought to be confined.

I would. though, like to evaluate this report in the light of another story on your website. It was reported that the king of Morocco is seriously derelict in his duty and has spent only a few days this year in Morocco. While the king is having fun in Europe and other countries, his subjects are also having fun: they are crossing the ocean across and landing in France, Belgium, Spain and in entire Europe. Perhaps the King is not derelict in duty and, in fact, pursuing the same goal as his subjects: Islamization of Europe.

As all this happens the biggest cheaters are our leftist politicians under whose watch all this is happening. Even if we grant that immigration is everyone's right, we should never concede that open immigration into Islamic theocracies should not happen and Islamic theocracies should not be democratic.

President Trump has surely tightened the noose on the UN (which in the modern times has become United Nations of theocracies, dictatorships, and human right violators) but it is also the responsibility of the citizens of every democracy to censure the representatives who turn a Nelson's eye toward how Islamic nations are mismanaging themselves.

Perhaps the North Africans are not abandoning their shores in collusion of their rulers (as I projected above). It is possible that they are abandoning their shores due to the mismanagement of their rulers and not in collusion with them. Then again, why the United Nations, with the permission of the lawmakers of most democracies are blessing the theocratic regimes of the Islamic world?
