D. Pipes misquoted by columnist in San Antonio, Texas Express News

Reader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters

Submitted by Sylvia Weiss (United States), Jan 30, 2005 at 14:41

On Friday, January 28th, columnist Mansour O. El-Kikhia quotes a Mr. Campos of the Rocky Mountain News that states that Mr. Pipes "casts a nostalgic lance back at the internment of Japanese-Americans and hints that we ought to consider similar steps in the context of the war on terrorism" (in reference to your article The Japanese Interment's Effects Today)

It would be great if Mr. Pipes would answer the column. The above mentioned local columnist writes spiteful, venomous columns attacking both Israel, Jews and Americans.

Thank you

Sylvia Weiss
