Reader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters

Submitted by Marcos Berenstein (Brazil), Dec 28, 2004 at 16:42

Revisionists lack somewhat a little more knowledge on that issue. American citizens of Japanese extraction were in fact spying on U.S. military bases at Oahu. It's plain history. Nothing to argue about. Period. They were simply non-reliable, despite the fact that scores of them enlisted in U.S.Army and actually saw combat in Europe.

Having said that, the Islamic threat is MUCH MORE deadly, since the Japanese were dealing with specific military targets as such as the Panama Canal, aircraft plants situated in California (North American Aviation),Oregon (Boeing), coastal defenses along that state and Oregon, Pearl Harbor of course...while some radical Muslim-Americans are plotting to kill civillians, bomb churches, synagogues, governmental facilities, bridges, tunnels, New York Stock Exchange building, and the list goes on...

Those Japanese certainly deserve what they got, meanwhile some of these allegedly six up to seven million Muslims that make America as their home insist in their vicious campaign of hatred, incitement against democracy, Israel, Jews, Judaism, women's rights, American institutions openly, taking advantage of its democratic system in order to poison it from within.

If America really wishes to continue to be free for the next 40 or 50 years, militant and fundamentalist Islam must be erased from the country. Fundamentalist Islam considers everything America stands for as 'sinful', 'anti-Islamic', therefore America's values ought to change to please themselves. Facts are there for anyone to see.
