Islam VS US Constitution

Reader comment on item: Why the Japanese Internment Still Matters

Islam forbids its adherents to follow "man-made" laws and that would include our US Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Islamic "ummah" if given an opportunity would seek sharia system to its followers even in western democracies as evidenced in Canada, UK, France and Netherlands to name a few all supposedly on a "voluntary" basis. Somehow, the sharia stuff happens to pertain to womens' rights in these countries. Why these countries even entertain these ideas is beyond me!

Yes, if the muslims are able and willing and actively participate in protecting their chosen homeland which means being willing to sacrifice for our constitution and our Bill of Rights then by default they are electing to be non-citizens and does not wish to participate in our system of government. With rights comes responsibilities as well.

Our system of government is something where muslims can pick and chose such as CAIR and other radical outfits trying to stiffle dissent and differance of opinion which might mean accepting the raw fact that Muhammad was a peadopile, a murderer, enslaver, etc.

Another interesting thing. I understand that Saudi Arabia which represents the muslim "ummah" gave something like $10 Million towards Tsunami aid to its "brotherly" nation, Indonesia. The US has pledged something like $350 Million Plus not counting fresh-water making ships being sent to the ravaged area. Japan, UK and even India have contributed significant amount much higher than Saudi Arabia towards disaster hit areas. Soooo much for the muslim Ummah....

By the way, Mr Pipes, you made it to a Pakistani daily newspaper as a front page item written by a columnist. The specific link is :
