Trump is on the right track, just needs semantic lesson in Islam lexicon

Reader comment on item: Trump: You Should Ban Islamists, Not Muslims

Submitted by Bob Jack (United States), Dec 25, 2015 at 09:14

Trump's call for suspending entry of Muslims until our elected reps can figure out where we stand is an idea whose time has arrived. Refugees from Islamist controlled areas are flocking to the US under a highly questionable refugee resettlement program. Our government is out of control to extent that the States into which these groupings are settled are not notified in advance and often lack any resources, includong law enforcement, to care for them. Trump clearly is a smart guy who knows there's a serious problem in the country--all he needed to say is that suspended influxes of Mmslims(non Citizens) should be implemented while we identify the Islamists that are in these groups. That's a sane and good idea. I think that's important to credit him with after all that has been said to demonize Trump for being politically incorrect in his choice of words.. Afterall, the objective i or syhould be to preserve America and American lives. This action is by all means constitutional which includes nothing to prevent screening immigrants to ensure that the safety and security of the nation is provided for. In any eevent the screening that takes place is based on political ideology ,Islamism, not religion.
