David, don't sacrifice your humanity. What you are writing reminds me of some ss-behaviour-guidelines telling those men in black uniforms the lesser the humantiy the stronger the will power. Let us hope that nobody in the Gaza strip takes your lines as a shining example. The peace you are talking about is reflected in the german word for graveyard which is Friedhof, literally translated as peaceyard. The will power of the palestinians is regenerated with the education of every baby born. That is where the west needs to interfere. Media play a major role in this and so does education of immigrants in the west. As for Germany in WW2, we had something to lose, civilization, a modern economy and so on. It is a good starting point to ask who is among the supporters of Hamas and the like that has something to lose.
