EHUD Barak said;

"The world isn't willing to accept — and we won't change that in 2010 — the expectation that Israel will rule another people for decades more," he said. "It's something that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world."

Who is Ehud Barak? A former General, a failed politician. A secular Jew who in self interest is pining for a Nobel prize no matter what the cost for Israeli people or even Jews?

His self loathing liberalism is dictating that right is wrong and wrong is right.

He believes that by stepping in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu he can achieve peace not with strategy or weapons but by Ehud Barak's sheer force of will. As an unelected member of the government he supports those who mock democracy and want to circumvent it at every turn. Such men bring nothing to the table of liberty and freedom and are all too quick to prosecute, imprison and even kill their own people, or anyone else with the audacity to stand up to defend their human rights.

Just this month FP-Foreign Policy writer Josh Rogin wrote what only the willfully blind refuse to see;

A telling quote from an "administration official" follows: "As for why Syria seems to be playing such an unhelpful role, "that's the million-dollar question," the [Obama administration] official said...."We do not understand Syrian intentions. No one does, and until we get to that question we can never get to the root of the problem," the official said. "Until then it's all damage control."

Has anyone in the cabinet not thought that it is not about peace it is all about Islam?

Obama has said "America will never be at war with Islam"! This said despite the obvious and relentless world wide escalation of the attacks, and that the Jihad (holy war) is delivered solely by the followers of Islam. Followers who acknowledge Islam as being their only cohesive force that drives them to war and slaughter over the past 40 years, and certainly the 1,400 preceding years. Look how under the name of Islam they slaughter their own people by the tens, twenties and even hundreds of thousands around the world sometimes every year and liberal Poli-sci types of Israeli secularists are puzzled that such religious people will not make peace with non-Muslims?

Clearly; PLO + Hammas + Syrians + Iran + (X time Islamic nations) does not equal peace

It all simply equals = Islam

Liberals will not fight for anything as long as the path to appeasement can be greased with good intentions.

Ehud Barak is not complaining that the government is not doing the will of the people. Ehud Barak wants such a government out of the way so he can to do the will of a liberal/fascist minority.

I agree with you Daniel that for peace Israel must defeat it's enemies – The Peace Plan must first identify Israel's enemies the same way Churchill did – by first removing the appeasers.
