Achieving Victory

Reader comment on item: My Peace Plan: An Israeli Victory

Submitted by philip goldberg (United States), Apr 29, 2010 at 12:24

Your plan for peace is for Israel to defeat its enemies. To convince the Palestinians that they have been defeated. But you don't outline any strategy to achieve this goal. How is this victory to be accomplished?? Is Israel to reoccupy Gaza? To rescind previous agreements with the Palestinian Authority? Please explain.

Daniel Pipes replies:

I prefer not to go into strategy and tactics, but rather to outline a policy goal. Once that goal is agreed on, it will be appriopriate to get into the details. Until then, that's premature.
