Mr Soetero,

" In Indonesia all citizen is equal before law."

That's very good, a remarkable achievement for a Muslim nation.

"That situation very different with some countries that sent some group of people to "reservation "."

Well, let's see - when did Indonesia get its independence - 1947 wasn't it? Before that it was a Dutch protectorate with some Portuguese involvement . Before Indonesia got a taste of Western institutions - it was what it is geographically - an archipelago and thousands of islands peopled by disparate groups - not a nation really at all. That is neither a good thing or a bad thing. At that time the UN was constituted and the while idea of sending people of to reservations was really no longer on the agenda anywhere in the world. So Indonesia never really had the chance to send people of to reservations did it?

But in a way you could say that West Papua was a reservation. As you know - the non-Asian natives of that region are non-Muslim Melanesian and have been subject to extremely bad treatment by the Indonesian military and others in the recent past. Similar to the East Timorese.

"...That situation to day!!! Yesterday the situation was worse , they kill millions of people in Asia and Africa and the rest they brought the native people as slaves. "

Are you talking about the arab slave trade in Africa again?

"You know that as well as I do.."
I certainly don't know what you imagine to be fact.

Most people are aware that slave trading went on throughout Africa - and that Arabs were avid buyers and sellers of slaves in that region. I'm glad you brought this up - the fact that Islam doesn't mind slavery at all.
