Le Soir is a French daily in Brussels, only read in Brussels by French Belgians. So it represents the vote of French belgfians not, the Flems who make out the majority of the Belgians. Let the Dutch-speaking Flems vote and around 80% is for the ban. Many French from brussels live in a strange world where they see themselves as 'multicultural' and the 'true Belgians'. This 56% vote must be seen as a statement against many Flems who want to split the country and are more anti-islamic.
