Mr Bannerjee, writing from nuclear equipped India, neighbouring the friendly nuclear equipped Pakistan says:

"You have again mentioned about Iran's nuclear options in your post. My viewpoint on that is that if a country like Iran which is situated in a part of the world where a country like Israel is situated then it is only natural for Iran to seek nukes. Remember Israel has 300 nukes and yet evangelists like you only oppose Iran's nukes(which do not exist at this point) but take a kid-glove approach to Israel's nukes.

The best and most succinct answer to this (apart from poitning out that no israeli president has ever said they want to wipe any arab country off the face of the earth - and that no Jewish scriptures characterises Muslims as pigs and monkeys) is a quote I read recently that 'if the arabs give up their arms - there will be peace. If Israel give up its arms - there will be mass slaughter.'

'Is not this hypocrisy on a grand scale on the part of you people."

You people? Who people? Do you not deny that there is palpable animosity in the arab/muslim world against Israel and there are muslim who wish to see its total destruction? Should 5 year olds be allowed to play with loaded shotguns ?
