Mr Bary, I do not agree with you that USA now is more islamic then others. I am not american and I do not need to defend them. But I can say, I admire them who learnt from their past mistakes very quick to come up to a tremendous "human right", better then any places in earth. I guess that's why science can flourist massively in such place. That what we must look at, to improve our own country, not to their past. We can't hate them for their past, because now they are not the same as they were in the past.

True, in 1955 there was "Rosa Park" case, or many other racial cases happened in USA including Ku Klux Klan (KKK). But you see, within 54 years after Rosa Park case, we can see americans abolished racistm completely, by elected a black president from a minority community. That is a prove that american succeed to achieve "equality and freedom" in human kind, not by religions or idology, but by adopting democracy, equality and freedom. Definitely it is a good thing to see and follows by others. What about muslim countries? Refer to countries who adopted shariah such as Saudia, Iran, Somalia, Taliban Afghanistan or Gaza under Hamas? What can we all need to follow from them now? They use democracy to install islamic law (shariah) in order to kill "Equality" and adopting violent, human right violation by degrading women and harsely persecuted people who use freedom od speech, racism to people who are not follow their way of life. Definitely human who already enjoy the achievement of "freedom and equality" will never allow it to happen exactly like our human history in the past!!!

I wrote many time in this site that I am blessed to live in Indonesia, who get on with life for the future and do not look to a bad past. Otherwise we will hate portugist, Deutch, British and Japanese who in the past occupied Indonesia. But we don't adopted a hater way of life. If we do, we have no different with current Palestinians who always look to their past, to hate Israeli for it existance in the Middle East who was a winner of 1967 war against Arabs. If we Indonesia adopt the same way of life as Palestiniana, I am sure we Indonesians are always a trouble state, which having on going killing of all Portugist, Deutch, British or Japanese nationality (our conguerer in the past) or non muslims. Now they coming to Indonesia in a big number as tourists without scared of the hater feeling. Why? I guess because those moderate muslims still use common senses!!! To chose a forgiving attitute to the past. Instead we want to learn from them on how they can have advance technology for our better future. But we all worry, those islamist fundamentalist will be in power, then they will fuel the hater attitute toward others. Remember, if we keep hate and act base on that hater attitute (like most Palestinians), we may already at never ending war against Malaysia which was part of our land in the past. Remember, a long time ago Malaysia was part of Indonesia land under Majapahit hindu emperium. Thank you.
