Tit for Tat, or monkey see, monkey do.

Reader comment on item: Swiss Minarets and European Islam

... Do we follow up Hitler's concentration camps and Russia's pogroms with the same things agaisnt, say, the Christians, the atheists, or the intellectuals? Does one act of buffoonery or hatred justify the same from the former or current victims? When the Islamists show their fifteenth century fanatcism and their hatred for the advanced civilizations, should we on the other side of history do the same? If we are being out-bred by these ... let us try to find other solutions to the future terrorism and murder that might follow. We might try to lead by example, and flush out the truth regarding the worlds' religious hate-mongers in our media and governments.

We might find another source of energy in much the same manner as we found oil that would, in the long run, send the Islamic states into virtual bankruptcy, both moral and financial. Finally, we might use our existing laws against active racism to stop further pandering of the savages in our midst. But never should we copy their methodology and place ourselves in the role of the enemy. Had facism been fighting facism in WWII, who would have cared who won? reeves,
