Walid Shoebat - Hero or Snake Oil Salesman

Reader comment on item: Walid Shoebat: "Palestinian turns from radical Muslim to true Zionist"
in response to reader comment: Is he really a Paletinian?

Dear Mr. Pipes,

As a good journalist you have to question his credentials - I understand. Let's say Walid didn't qualify as a former Muslim speaking out against Islam and for Israel. Why are there so many others who say the same thing? Zak Anani, Nonie Darwish, Brigitte Gabriel, etc.....?

It seems to me that Israel doesn't have too many friends these days. Why not accept those who support her?

Many Muslims have converted to Christianity during these last years. As true believers they embrace Israel - with all its faults!!! The Bible says: "You shall know them by their fruit." Some curageous ones risk their lives to tell others, some stay silent.

I don't understand why we Jews have to shoot our supporters in the back?

Shalom - Lilo Isenburg
