Can't you be Christian and still love Isreal?

I saw Mr. Shoebat just tonight and my conclusion is that he speaks the truth. No, I haven't seen documentation. It's just a feeling in my heart. I also haven't seen Noah Mizrahi's documentation of the so-called "research" they have done on Mr. Shoebat. Until I do, I will just follow my heart and I believe that GOD will show me if it's wrong.

But what I don't understand is why can't you be a devout Christian and still love Israel and the Jewish people? They will always be GOD's people and He will always defend Isreal and I love them because GOD loves them. Besides, they will realize who Jesus was soon enough. Enough said.
