Interesting take on "taqiyya." which is related to a teaching unique to Shi'a Muslims particularly during the early years of Islam when they were a persecuted minority. According to this teaching it was OK for the "'Ali" faction to hide their true identity to avoid persecution. Very similar, in fact, to what Jews did during the inquisition when they pretended to be Christian to avoid the terrors of that particularly gruesome Christian practice.

What you are suggesting is that this limited largely discredited Shi'a teaching of the early Middle Ages is a normative Muslim belief, which is a marvelous way to make yourself feel morally superior while at the same time cherry picking whatever you happen to choose to believe about Muslims to feed your own prejudices. What's particularly amusing is that you have now chosen to extend this to those of us who have actually studied Islam and lived among Muslims. That's a ripe one :)

So believe what you wish to believe. Just know that people who live with the kind of prejudices and hatred as you do end up shriveling their souls.
