He is sympathetic to Arabs

Reader comment on item: Walid Shoebat: "Palestinian turns from radical Muslim to true Zionist"
in response to reader comment: On the contrary

I believe you're incorrect about lack of sympathy. Shoebat condemns the ideology and the false genealogical/territorial claims. But he's not attacking the people themselves. The ironic thing is that if the Palestinians (Arabs who reside in Israel territory) had at any time proven themselves to be peace-abiding, they either could have had their state a long time ago, or actually, would not need it because they could dwell at peace in Israel, where so many Arabs already do, and with far more civil and human rights than in any other Arab state. It's not hatred to tell the truth. The Bible says that the wounds of a friend are faithful. Proving Shoebat's credentials are frankly beyond my abilities. But his message is right on. The Arabs are stuck in a religious and cultural lie. They kill most heinously with religious fervor and ecstasy. And it's getting worse. If Shoebat is wrong on the facts, prove it. But in alleging that he has no sympathy toward those he criticizes, you only expose your own lack of acceptance of truth. Make truth your friend. Seek it, wherever it takes you. The decision won't be easy, but it will be right, and I trust, ultimately rewarded.
