Reader comment on item: In Iraq, Stay the Course - but Change It

Submitted by Charles Stewart (Canada), Oct 27, 2006 at 01:23

There is a simple solution to all this. Colonize Iraq. Send in 3 million troops. Blockade the Persion Gulf. Take over the oil. All of it. Tell China and Europe that if they want some they have to make nice and pay for it. Co-opt Russia and particularly the Cossacks. Offer them aid, cheap oil, and arms to fend off China, fight their own muslim enemies, and keep Turkey in line. Get them to help.

With a little prodding Russkie can be our friend. Muslims don't like them either. Put nukes in Iraq pointed at Iran and Syria. Shoot anything that moves. Cut off all gasoline supply. The only thing that should move should be American armour. Warn the people that if terrorists, insurgents, or enemy fire come from their town, it will be levelled. And the then do it. (Three or four such incidents should do it. Then again, maybe not.). Open the country to NGO's, Christian and other non-muslim influence. As areas become secure, bring in the corporations and non-muslim immigration. Hordes of it. Payback time for Hindus, Jews, Christians, Armenians, Africans ... Bankrupt Saudi with cheap oil. Anyway, y'all get the idea.
