I hope the White House is on your mailing list! I just remember all the criticism this country got after Sept. 11 for ignoring Afganistan after the Russians pulled out, which is why I've been supporting our effort to transform Iraq into a democracy. I've lost faith in the Iraqi's motivation to build a decent country, though, and your idea sounds like it's worth trying.
