If Bush and the Americans had knowledge of the ground rules in the Middle East all of this or at least most of it would be unnecessary. First and most important rule is this;

THE US HAS NO REAL FRIEND IN THE MIDDLE EAST EXCEPT FOR ISRAEL
The second rule is:
ARABS ARE UNGRATEFUL AND THAT INGRATITUDE INCREASES WITH NON-MUSLIMS
The third rule is
NEVER PUT AN ARMY IN AN ARAB COUNTRY EXCEPT TO WAGE A WAR
