If only we knew how to "help the have-nots."

Checking back on previous efforts by developed nations to help undeveloped nations one is not encouraged.
The most valuable help we can give them is advice to change their legal systems so as to respect private property and enable business formation; but those are the least likely messages to be delivered by so called "humanitarians" and the least likely remedies to be implemented by the kleptocrats who rule most undeveloped nations.
