I know Rome is not the subject of discussion, but I have to correct you on your mistakes. There is no comparison what so ever between the fall of the Roman empire and the influx of third world people into the West. Roman policy was to bring people into the empire not keep them out. Rome was not interested in teaching its subjects Roman values, rather they were interested in their tax money and their lands. Although Rome introduce many concepts that are the basis of Western civilization, Rome was also a brutal empire that was despised by its subjects. It only made historical sense that the Germanic tribes that Rome brutalized would attack her once she showed weakness. Therefore your comparison between brutalized people who wanted vengeance and poor people trying to find a better life is absurd.

Yes the nazis were human beings, at least outwardly. We are all human beings, but our actions define whether we have humanity in us or whether we are humans outwardly only. The actions of the nazis classify them and savages and barbarians. Those migrants are responding to their basic human needs, although from a legal stand point they have no right to enter another country illegaly. At the same time we can't tell them they have no right to seek a better life, because anyone in their position would do the same to survive. We need to confront this problem from both ends, not just build walls around ourselves and pretend we don't the misery and desparation thas exist all around us.
