This is wrt. the comments S.C.Panda: West Africa New Route to the West. Most of the westerners may not not understand, what is this vote bank politics. Hence this explanation.

This is system by which a group of people vote for a candidate or against a candidate for his defeat. The Hindu majority is conveniently divided on caste lines by the secular parties and the parties then solicit 15% muslim votes, with promises, which are illegal or impractical. The muslims vote enbloc to a candidate to winor to ensure the defeat of another. The mainline political parties succumb to the pressure tactics to capture power at any cost. The strtegy is also facilitated by a higher rate of growth muslim population, concentration of muslims in one area and the influx of illegal immigrants. Under such pressure, the Indian government recently nullified the immigration control order, against the dictates of the Supreme Court. I suuggest to Mr.Pipes to study the Indian situation and caution the West and USA, even now
