in response to reader comment: Stop immigrants from entering Canada

Submitted by catbun (Canada), Jun 30, 2011 at 02:06

There is a MAJOR ASIAN immigration problem! Vancouver specifically for they are over 50% of Vancouver's population crossing over from the Pacific Ocean. I as born in Vancouver in the 70s and since expo 86 and after that the costs of housing keeps going up, bc housing list for people who cannot even afford to pay for rent due to the immigrants coming is longer, medical help is also at a hault for the treatment to see a specialist is at a hold and local born people like myself will never be able to afford to buy a home at making $20 an hour, even with two incomes.

We also need to STOP PEOPLE BRINGING THEIR PARENTS OVER TO CANADA, for it is causing major problems for people like my parents to get into an elderly care home. Now..how about the JOBS?? I noticed it is even harder to find a JOB!! competition is furious with more applicants for the same job who have not been here long. I have worked at a hospital and THE OLDER ASIANS dont care to learn english and I CANNOT HELP THEM!!!!!!! STOP IMMIGRATION TO CANADA AND LETS START HELPING THE PEOPLE WHO ARE BORN HERE AND HELP THEM GET DECENT CARE, JOBS AND HOUSING. THIS WILL HELP DECREASE HOSTILITY TOWARDS OTHERS.
