Actually I am concerned more with legal immigration rather than illegal immigration. People, for example, coming from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, India are competing for jobs in the professional fields such as computers, finance, engineering.... I would think there is more competition when Americans apply for jobs, they're taking jobs that otherwise would have belonged to Americans..... True? The funny thing is Russians and Isrealis and other European immigrants that come here does the same thing. Really. I think that when I apply for jobs. It's tougher with them around.

Take computers for example. Ask any American in that field. They'd tell you it's harder to get jobs now in that field thanks to many immigrants from Asia and India and Russia and Jews from Israel (funny the Israelis are now a problem in this area. ha ha....) who are competing against them in the job market. It would have been easier if not for them. Can you imagine all those unemployed Americans, or Americans settling for low paying jobs that are outside their fields because they could not find a job in their area of expertise thanks to immigrants? And wages going down due to competition? Take finance....

Meanwhile the illegal immigrants mostly take jobs no American takes and are therefore contributing to businesses and us all. So is it really illegal immigration the problem?
