Anil Mittal - you reached pretty far back to find a European example

The link you gave was an article on ancient Greece 2500 years ago. Surely you could have come up with more recent examples of European racism. Actually that's an easy thing to do since Europeans are no more perfect than the folks indigenous to any other continent.

It is a curious fact that you trumpet and decry European rules about wearing headcoverings in certain specific settings while ignoring the fact that in much of India racial and religious massacres and wife burnings are still common, and in most majority Muslim countries conversion to another religion from Islam is legally punishable by death and women are mere chattel.

It's hard for me to see the moral equivalency there, but then I'm a caucasian westerner, a so called ice person, so I probably don't understand the most subtle moral distinctions that are revealed only to more worthy races.
