Cyrus,

To answer your question in a few short words is this: Pakistan is in the pocket of the Bush administration. Iran as we all know is not. The American idiocy is to think if the person's nationality is from a pro-Bush country than they are the gravy, everyone else is, well, the burnt scraping at the bottom of the pan.
