in response to reader comment: aryans are indian

Submitted by true believer (India), Jun 20, 2006 at 04:03

Not all Indians are Aryans. Though there are many Indians who claim to be of Scythian descent, especially the upper castes, who are distinguished by their physical features. Indians are a mixture of Aryans, Dravidians, Huns , Kushans, Mongols, aborigines and many other races that fell into this great melting pot and fused into one. There are only a few communities that are regarded as pure aryans. Namely the Kashmiri Pandits and Drokpas of Tibet. During the times of Hitler, Himmler had even sent a group of German scientists to the Himalayas to study the Drokpas and take skull and bone measurements etc..etc.. There are further evidences , the main ones being the Sanskrit language which is believed to be a branch of Indo Aryan languages has similarities with ancient Ionian language. Having said that, you find people of all shades and hues there.
