I hear you, Sidda and am in 100% agreement. The problem that 'civilised' society faces is that it is generally so skewed by the notion of 'equality for all' that the baby is thrown out with the proberbial bath water. Where does it end? Why are we so concerned with the rights of criminals, sex offenders, paedophiles, etc?

The irony of course is that people don't talk about multiracism - they use the phrase multiculturalism. Yet, they seem unable to acknowledge (or understand) that some of us 'right wing bigots' are less concerned with the idea of race than we are with cultural compatibility. Some cultures are successful, some less so. It is a matter of common sense that one should shun practices and beliefs that have failed in their countries of origin as they can only undermine us. Why import them? Giving any group, ie Islam, 'special treatment' still constitutes discrimination - a hypocrisy that never fails to give me indigestion.

Regrettably, the Department of Political Correctness fails to recognise that by making a Holy Cow (no pun intended!) of certain groups, and by definition treating them preferentially, and that by failing to address the real issues and concerns of the rest of the population only breeds resentment and 'racism' that will invariably make life tougher for those who share a similar skin colour despite having utterly different beliefs. Our Hindu, Sikh, etc brothers are the ones who really suffer as a result of this. Who's looking after them?
