Reader comment on item: The Mystical Menace of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iran may not really be a threat after all. The Pakistanis have had nukes for quite a while now and haven't used them. And, as most of you know, the Pakistanis are a very fanatical flavor of Islam. From the terror they have inflicted on the areas around Kashmir for decades - forcing millions to flee to safer grounds, to the great scientist Khan selling technology to enemies of the US. All the while continuing to allow hundreds or thousands of madrasses to continue to flourish [knowing they produce nothing but brainwashed illiterates (who needs access to the West because the Dictator Muusharaf has been such a great ally in... 'the war on terror'] - and that even as they beg the West to aid in the suffering of hundreds of thousands due to acts of nature. Or expect them to take in their poor huddled masses[?]

So what is the big deal with Iran? Similarities between the Pakistanis and Iran is that [unlike W] have no one that is going to tell them to leave the power position. Regardless of the universal 'left's sad propaganda - that W is the worse Dictator in the world. In the enlightened world we know W has less than 1000 days left in the limelight. This will be interesting to watch. And all this talk of messiah's floating down from the clouds is really sad to hear.
