good news & bad

Good news first: I would imagine that by now there are a lot of warheads targeting Iranian military assets so when the moment of action comes it will be swift. One hopes.

Bad news: After the political disaster of Iraq, has possibility of pre-emptive action has been much reduced? Lets hope we will not have to endure repeated atrocities as in 1938-9.

Other commentators have noted the historical progeny through Hitler, Stalin, Mao. Yet it is still Hitler that resonates, as Ahmadinejad is a product of the regime yet is growing, like a monster, out of the control of the clerics, some of whom must see where this is leading their country.
