Dear Prof Pipes,

It is said that Islam makes a convert ashamed of his/her past. Persia as Iran was earlier known was one of the earliest victims of Islam. The present Iranians are not proud of their Persian/Zoroastrian civilisation. And President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (MA)simply behaves like a fresh convert -full of Islamic zeal .

Adolf Hitler was a believer in the distorted version of white Aryan supremacy and was only an individual. But, MA believes in a totalitarian ideology and hence is more dangerous.
