To say the US is totalitarian because it has a successful security policy is hysterical and is likely more indicative of J.K.s inexperience of the real thing, which is hard to come by now the Stasi are no longer. J.K. should try a few years in North Korea if he desires the genuine article.

The actions carried out by the US against Islamists considered a threat are similar to wartime measures. Only a fool is blind to the fact that there is a war being waged by militant Islam against the West and most other beliefs, including [for example] Buddists in Thailand and animists in Sudan.

This aint no disco, apparently.
