Reader comment on item: CAIR: 'Moderate' friends of terror

Submitted by Ethan Corey (United States), Apr 22, 2002

A couple of other items about CAIR:

1. CAIR's anti-Semitic and anti-Israel diatribes deliberately misquote newspaper articles to smear Israel (see Slate - Whopper of the Week archive).

2. CAIR will e-mail moderate sounding press releases (e.g., condemning the murder of Daniel Pearl). However, these press releases do not appear on CAIR's web site. Not unlike Yasser Arafat, CAIR attempts to present one image to Western media and a different image to (primarily anti-Semitic) visitors to its web site.
