Far from the truth. Many members of el-ikhwan el-muslimeen were and are still linked to el-azhar (eg: el-shiekh el-hewini). But in typical Islamic fashion and because the government pays the bills of el-azhar those in charge in el-azhar just look the other way. Even all of the leaders of the 1952 revolution were ikhwan as in the case of Gamal abd el-nasser and Anwar el-sadat (gasp!)

But again when Nasser's power was challenged by el-ikhwan he turned against them,

It is all about power and pragmatism our dear sherif

How come you did not know that? Oh el-ikhwan el-muslimeen? it is a fascist organization that can only belong to a fascist religion and that is islam
