The fight to get the truth out

Reader comment on item: CAIR: 'Moderate' friends of terror

Submitted by T. Putnam (United States), Apr 22, 2002

I thank Daniel Pipes for keeping up the fight to get the truth out. After Sept. 11 it seemed that the networks wanted the true story, the "real deal". Now just a little more than six months later, they have totally dropped the story and the liberals are once again trying to find poor oppressed and wrongly accused muslims to parade in front of the camera. It seemed that after Sept. 11, everyone cared, and thought that no sacrifice was too great to find perpatrators and bring them to justice. Now it seems that the zeal is gone, and everyone is downing the Israelis for keeping the heat on.
To that I say America, wake up!
We all had better watch what is going on in Israel, because if we ignore it, we may be having that same broad scale micro-terror attacks going on in our cities and towns. Americans cannot imagine what it would be like to worry about going to a restaurant for fear some nut might come in and blow him/herself up. If we ignore Israel's right to defend themselves, we will assuredly wind up in a similar condition.
