CAIR is a grassroots organization that serves to defend the Muslim community in USA/Canada from misconceptions and bigotry, much like the Anti-Defamation League. Moreover, it serves to politically empower Muslims to take part in the American political system. Like any other public relations groups...

I was at that rally in Cali, July 1998, and my wife and teenage son videotaped the whole speech of Omar Ahmed. He did not make any comments that you attributed to him. If you want, I will mail a whole copy of the video tape, and send a click server with it so you can check if it was edited to cut anything out, which it wasn't...
