Never met a Muslim who didn't drink alcohol

Reader comment on item: More on Those Alcohol-shy Taxi Drivers

How come, if Muslims don't drink in obedience with Quranic teachings, ARRAQ is THE national drink in Arab countries? Arabs boast its strength -- strong enough to send a person to hospital if half a tumbler is drunk without water dilution -- well, for most normal stomachs. They BRAG about drinking a shot-size glass without water dilution.

BTW, if the middle-upper class can obtain a bottle of Scotch, you can be sure its not wasted. And Muslim diplomats rely on Western embassies to supply them with CASES of the stuff ... surreptiously delivered by the truck load, of course.

What hypocrisy these "goodie" Muslims practice.
