Don't bring booze into my Taxi - I respectfully disagree

Dr. Pipes,

You sadly show a lack of faith in the market mechanisms. I would welcome a two-light system, or any other system where the medalion owner can "signal" that he prefers not to take those that offend his Shaaria sensibilities. First off, I believe he has a right not to take those who offend him, and second, I as the user, would never avail myself of his services, regardless of how long I had to wait for a different taxi. I would let the market vote, and I believe that the "Shaaria-enforcing" drivers would spend the bulk of their time idle.
