Enslavement of shariah or freedom of our constitution??

Reader comment on item: American Intifada

Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Jun 19, 2007 at 22:04

The ending of the four-year American intifada signalled, as in Algeria, the opening of a political battle over the country's future. Would the Constitution of 1787 remain in place, or would it be complemented or perhaps replaced by the Koran and the Shariah?

Dr. Pipes, you have presented a frightful scenario for us!!! It could happen in this politically correct environment of our country where we cannot call spade a spade. Perhaps, those who do not want to live by the rules of our constitution should take a hike from this country before the country throws political correctness in the dust bin of history and starts taking action.
