The negligible size in population has not prevented Muslims to have a go in capturing power by a coup d'etat close to the US. About 15 years back, in a West Indies island with less than 4% Muslim population, one Muslims major in the country's army, deposed the president and seized power. The other army officers wanted to capture him and hang him. As usual there was an intervention from Christians in the US to arrive at a peaceful resolution of the 'conflict' and he escaped scot free with his life to an Islamic country.
