Who is more vulnerable Israel or the US?

I feel that the US won't handle this as well because of the constitution, as the founders weren't aware of the Islamist threat.

On the other hand, something tells me that Israelis are more pacifist than Americans when confronted with actual danger and that Americans will more easily deter the Arab and Muslim insurrectionists.

So I am wondering who is better off.
