Russia's future naval basesReader comment on item: American Intifada Submitted by REX (United States), Dec 30, 2009 at 02:22 www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/01/16/2468180.htm Russia and Iranian alliance will be strengthen when Russia builds naval bases in Libya, Syria and Yemen. Iran already has a military alliance with Sudan and Russian mercenaries fly Mig's for the Ethiopia air force. All these bases could have an effective block on Suez canal and Persian Gulf international trade and oil routes. Russian troops are already stationed in Parchin, Iran's military complex. Should the Iranian rioting students get out of hand, Ahmadinejad might ask Russia for additional troops. Few people know that the opposition also wants nuclear weapons, so whoever wins the western nations and Israel still have an Iranian threat backed by Russia.
