Nightmare on Main Street America

Once again, Daniel Pipes hits the nail on the head, this time blending fiction with facts and coming up with a deadly recipe for a frightening scenario: Our country, after an Islamic uprising, living under, or combining Shariah law into our constitution. God forbid. Having lived in two Muslim countries, I can attest to the failings of such societies due to the pressures that the Muslim religion puts on its throngs, by the most fundamentally-geared propagators, who seem to be multiplying at an alarming rate. The voice of the moderates can barely be heard above the din of the finger-pointing imams, devising new fatwahs with the dawning of each new day.

Let us hope and pray that never, never in this country, will we allow the Islamists to get a stranglehold on our country's many freedoms. There is a danger that this has already started, creeping ever so smoothly into the cracks of our society. It is almost past time to become aware of these dangers, not to be paranoid, but to stand up for our rights.
