What would be needed for a "happy ending" to the story?Reader comment on item: American Intifada Submitted by Sofa Sogood (United States), Jun 22, 2007 at 01:13 Dear Dr. Pipes, Yes, it surely looks like your "fantasy" is not unlikely. Could/would you write a similar story with an alternate -- happy ending? What might be the steps/changes in public and government awareness, attitudes and actions, that would lead to that "happy ending?" Whether those ideas/events, etc. are too fantastical or not, I'd like to hear them, and see them in writing.
