World War III? Yeah, right......

Islam is not a religion of maniacs. Yes, far too many of them need a thicker skin, but one time in the known past Christians murdered anybody who didn't follow the pope's words too. Why don't we do that any more? Because times have changed. The point that we need to make is that Islam is NOT the enemy of civilization - because it isn't, regardless of these chicken little idiots who constantly say that the only solution to Islamic terrorism is to exterminate Islam. Without destroying the world's economy and energy supply such a genocide is impossible, and secondly we KNOW that not every Muslim is out there chanting death to America. Heck, the ME cutting off their oil would put a real crimp on Europe's energy supply, wouldn't it?

We need to destroy (or at least marginalize) extremist Islam. Extremist Christianity had its final bullet put into it by the German and Italian fascists in World War II. Now, we CAN put the final bullet into extremist religions of any sort. It can be done. Some of it will be done with bullets, some of it will be done with words and good actions. But if we let ourselves fall into this type of thinking, that will destroy civilization. Does anyone else think that in such a scenario the human rights of us would mean a thing? Democratic countries can slide into chaos and dictatorship because of nasty events and people rashly reacting to them. It happened to Russia with the Chechens, and look how Putin runs the country now.

We don't need to change anything about ourselves. Does every Muslim come here to kill us? No, not at all - the vast majority come here because in America you can be a Muslim and still be free, without the dictatorial actions of Islamic nations and the systemic and increasingly ugly racism and Islamophobia which Europe and Australia are beginning to show. Taking the "all of them are bad and must be destroyed" will ultimately destroy us too.
