The City of MariReader comment on item: American Intifada Submitted by REX (United States), Jan 10, 2010 at 13:45 The city of Mari was set aflame by Amorite king Hammurabi. Some 20,000 clay tablets were harden in the fire. One tablet showed an ancient map where the names Peleg, Reu, Serug,Nahor, Terah and Haran (Genesis 11:17-32) appeared as cities in northern Syria. These tablets were discovered in 1933 C.E. and most recently a clay pot was found in Israel dating to the 10th century B.C.E. How can anyone claim the Hebrews have no historical rights to the land of Israel when after each artifact is found matches our Holy Scriptures?
